#1179 Pose 'n Play Skipper from 1973 was sold only as a "Baggie Doll" (a doll in a bag, rather than a box) and without the gift set. Basically it was just to get rid of the old dolls!

#1179 Pose 'n Play Swing-A-Rounder Gym Gift Set (1972-1973) The early dolls had light red hair. The dolls were not sold separately in 1972, only with the set.

#1179 Pose 'n Play Baggie Skipper was released in 1972, In 1973 #4223 Quick Curl Skipper was available. Both dolls have blonde hair and blue eyes. Pose 'n Play also was available with red hair very early on, and are extremly rare.
