The #8587 Twist 'n Turn European market only doll has the Stacey head mold, wears a one-piece turquoise swimsuit, has a Twist 'n Turn waist, and straight legs. In 1975-76 she wore a yellow swimsuit.
The #7382 Barbie from Europe has straight-legs, but her waist did not twist. She was made from the Stacey head mold as well. She wore a two-piece blue swimsuit in 1976 and 1977.

This first issue #8587 was made in Japan. Her marking as well as her foot both state that. She may have been released in 1970, but I'm thinking she probably wasn't released until 1971 or 1972. The blonde's original packaging from England has an offer on the package for a free 1972 fashion. The blonde version is very hard to find.
